43, of Warwick, R.I.; assigned to the Judge Advocate General Office, based at Headquarters Department of the Army, Pentagon; killed in action when a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter was shot down Nov. 7 in Tikrit, Iraq.

Army Sgt. Amanda N. Pinson

Army Sgt. Wakkuna A. Jackson

21, of Jacksonville, Fla.; assigned to 710th Combat Support Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, N.Y.; killed Aug. 19 when an improvised explosive device detonated near her convoy vehicle in Kunar, Afghanistan. Also killed were Spc. Robert E. Drawl Jr. and Cpl. Christopher F. Sitton.

23, of Texas; assigned to 204th Support Battalion, 2nd Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas; died Sept. 12 of injuries sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near her Humvee during combat operations in Kifl, Iraq.

52, of Alameda, Calif.; assigned to 405th Civil Affairs Battalion, Army Reserve, Fort Bragg, N.C.; killed Sept. 8 when a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device detonated near her Humvee in Kabul, Afghanistan. Also killed was Staff Sgt. Robert J. Paul.

Army Spc. Lizbeth Robles

31, of Vega Baja, Puerto Rico; assigned to the 360th Transportation Company, 68th Corps Support Battalion, 43rd Area Support Group, Fort Carson, Colo.; died March 1 at the 228th Command Support Hospital in Tikirt, Iraq, from injuries sustained Feb. 28 in a military vehicle accident in Bayji, Iraq. Also killed was Army Sgt. Julio E. Negron

18, of Tucson, Ariz.; assigned to the 170th Military Police Company, 504th Military Police Battalion, 42nd Military Police Brigade, Fort Lewis, Wash.; died April 18 in Baghdad of injuries sustained April 17 when an improvised explosive device detonated near her Humvee in Baghdad
